Churning of the Ocean
Orpheus and Eurydice
A collaboration with the students of the BA Honours in Acting course of the Drama department. We were tasked to devise a piece which used both projected visual content and acting to retell different mythological stories.
The Churning of the Ocean is a retelling of the Samudra Manthan of Hindu Philosophy, explaining the origin of Amrita, the nectar of immortality. Orpheus and Eurydice is a retelling of the greek legend which follows Orpheus' journey into the Greek underworld to retrieve his beloved wife Eurydice from the Hades, the God of the Underworld.
