This is an excerpt from the online presentation of my final project for my degree in Video Design for Live Performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

REBUS is a continually updating Data Sculpture that uses data from 22 different sources on the internet, including Twitter accounts, News websites, Stock information and Flight trackers. The live data that is collected from the internet is then modulated against values from various Datasets collated by international agencies such as NASA and the World Bank Group. REBUS aims to explore how the increasing availability of information in the hands of the average data consumer, and their perception of it, affects our society and mental health. REBUS was made entirely in Notch, a real-time 3D visual workstation.
